Born and raised in California, Rachel pursued the arts at a young age. Dancing was her first love when she started taking ballet lessons at the age of three but her ear for music inspired her to study violin when she turned eight. She joined the Ojai Youth Orchestra a year after learning to play. Then a couple years later earned the role of first violinist. She participated in a few violin competitions growing up and was accepted to Idyllwild Arts Academy Highschool where she studied under Todor Pelev. For her senior year she studied abroad in Bratislava, Slovakia at Tanečné konzervatórium Evy Jaczovej a ballet school and studied violin alongside renowned violinist, Peter Michalica. She initially planned a career as a ballerina after graduation and was accepted into a ballet company in Brussels, Belgium but ultimately decided to pursue music instead. Before starting college, she spent a year studying acting and voice at the American Academy of Dramatic Arts in Hollywood and began working as a music teacher. Afterwards, she transferred from Ventura College to CSUN for her junior year as a violin performance major where she is currently studying with professor Lorenz Gamma.
