Voice

Michaela Metivier is a classically trained soprano from Los Angeles, California. She graduated from California State University, Northridge with a Bachelor of Music degree in Vocal Performance in 2019. During her time at CSUN, she performed multiple opera roles including Eurydice (Orphée aux enfers), Madama Erlecca (Li sposi per accidente), and Romilda (cover) (Serse). She was given the opportunity to also sing in a vocal arts master class led by baritone Richard Zeller (Metropolitan Opera) where she performed the Doll Aria from Les contes d'Hoffmann. She also was a member of CSUN's premiere a cappella group Acasola, where she got to compete in LA A Cappella Festival and the International Championship of Collegiate A Cappella, and sing on the group's debut album Resolution. On the album, she can be heard as a soloist on “Magnets”, “Why Don’t You Love Me”, and “Ain’t Got Far To Go. She is also currently a backup singer for local alternative rock band Make Believe Friends and a brand new Blondie tribute band, Heart of Blonde.
